Role Summary: Assist in crafting fresh, seasonal brunch dishes in a fast-paced environment while upholding the Redemption standard. Contribute daily to our mission by serving excellent food and coffee. Undergo comprehensive training and grow with the company. Support the reopening of cafes with a focus on quality and consistency.

Role Requirements: Friendly, energetic, and with a warm personality. Proactive and adaptable with a strong work ethic. Previous kitchen experience or relevant culinary education. Commitment to high standards and keen attention to detail. Knowledge of HACCP process, including food safety and kitchen hygiene. Effective communication in English and the right to work in the UK.

We provide professional coffee industry training, both inside and outside of prison with direct pathways to long-term employment. We're looking for skilled and passionate Kitchen Assistants to help create fresh, seasonal and high quality Brunch Dishes within a fast based environment and to the Redemption standard. We welcome those with previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant in a similar type of business.

We believe our team is at the heart of everything we do, which is why we take training very seriously. As a Kitchen Assistant you will be offered comprehensive training when you start.

We are looking for like-minded skilled people to join us as we reopen our cafes and focus on the quality and consistency of our Brunch dishes. You are; Approachable, full of energy and possess a warm personality; Proactive, with a strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in whatever the task; Adaptable and with an eye for quality, detail, and speed of service; Enthusiastic for our social responsibility ethos; Competent in a kitchen with experience in a similar role or relevant studies.

As a Redemption Kitchen team member, you’ll be; Creating and producing seasonal and delicious dishes at speed and to the Redemption standard; Owning every dish that you present, ensuring quality and consistency is at the heart of everything you do; Monitoring daily standards of our HACCP process including temperature checks, date checks, staff training, allergen management and cleaning rotas; Standards driven and detail-oriented; Helping to create an atmosphere of high standards; Fulfilling the standards of neatness, personal image and uniformity; Owning maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen; Assisting with stock ordering based on the manager’s Sales Forecast.
