Role Summary

  • Advise and support a diverse range of arts organizations in optimizing their social media presence.
  • Deliver specialized training and create valuable resources to maximize social media engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of Tech Champions, providing expertise nationwide and representing the network in the Midlands.

  • Proven experience and understanding of social media in a professional context.
  • Passion and ambition to drive digital innovation and support others' learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a national team.

The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Culture Network as a Tech Champion for social media. You will be a champion for encouraging best practice and innovation in the use of social media for a range of organisations from galleries to theatres, libraries, festivals, arts centres, and museums across the country. This role involves providing actionable 1-2-1 advice, delivery of training, and creating resources to help individuals and organisations make the most of their social media.

Job Requirements The ideal candidate will be an experienced Social Media professional, who has a good understanding of how organisations and individuals might use this technology to their best advantage. They should have drive, ambition, and the communication skills to encourage and support learners at all levels to realise their ambitions through digital solutions. You will work closely as part of a dynamic and friendly national team of Tech Champions to provide support and expertise across the country and represent the network in the Midlands. You will be highly motivated and able to work independently on your initiative as well as proactively contribute to national team working.
