Role Summary:
- Collaborate with the sales team and potential clients to define solution requirements in the energy & utilities sector.
- Engage in workshops and stakeholder discussions from lead generation to implementation handover.
- Support new sales opportunities, conduct site surveys, create product demonstrations, and convey business requirements post-sale.
- Develop robust customer relationships and personalized sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Travel extensively to meet customer and business needs in the US/EMEA regions.
Role Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of the US energy & utility market.
- A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, particularly in complex enterprise SaaS environments.
- Proficiency in cloud and hosted application architectures.
- Strong analytical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Readiness to undertake extensive travel.

As a Solution Consultant, you will work together with our sales team and energy & utilities prospects on defining and understanding the solution requirements with regards to pricing, forecasting, billing, hedging, settlement, insight analysis and reporting. You will display expertise in US energy markets and connect with customer business experts to work together on creating the perfect solution. You will participate actively in workshops with different stakeholders from the lead generation phase, all the way throughout the handover to the implementation team.
Your responsibilities include supporting the identification, pursuit and closure of new sales opportunities, conducting customer site surveys, creating individual product demonstrations, and communicating business requirements to the project/implementation team after the completion of each sale. You will also be expected to build strong customer relationships, communicate and collaborate on opportunity plans and sales strategies, and drive the business forward through developing an innovative and personalised approach to new and existing customers.
Job requirements include knowledge and experience in the US energy & utility market, a BA/BS degree or equivalent in experience, proven experience within the complex enterprise SaaS software market, knowledge of cloud and hosted application architecture, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively across the US/EMEA region.
