Volunteer General / operations management expert to help ensure our policies remain fit-for-purpose

What will you be doing?

Policies and Procedures are critical for us to ensure that our work is conducted safely. As an General / Operations Manager with prior experience working with policies, you will play a key role in helping maintain our focus on ensuring our Policies and Procedures remain current. This could be someone with a background in HR, Legal, Policy, General Management, Management Consultancy, or Governance. London Search and Rescue, known as LonSAR, searches for vulnerable missing people across London to help end preventable loss of life. Working with the Metropolitan and City of London Police, we provide a 24-hour search and rescue service. LonSAR’s volunteer search professionals are selfless, dependable, trustworthy, courageous, and compassionate. What are we looking for?

We welcome applications from any enthusiastic General Managers who have a critical mind, a keen attention to detail, word skills to ensure clear presentation and consistency and are precise and logical in their thinking. We do not need individuals to be experts in specific areas, as we receive technical guidance from other agencies and from within the team. We would love to hear from all of you.
