The Role - Editorial Assistant, Business & Economics We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Editorial Assistant to join our friendly Business and Economics team. The Editorial Assistant will support the Commissioning Editor and Publisher, working on a variety of market-leading textbooks and digital learning resources for university-level students. This role involves supporting all aspects of the publishing process from new proposals through to publication. It is an ideal role for a talented individual who is keen to develop their career in publishing.
Job Requirements The ideal applicant for this role will be organised, an excellent communicator (written and verbal), able to build effective working relationships, meticulous in their attention to detail and accuracy, self-motivated with a positive attitude, able to work well as part of a team and independently, good at finding solutions to problems and using their initiative, and numerate, with experience of using Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
Benefits The role is a full-time (35 hours per week) permanent position with a salary of £27,000. The role is based at our London office on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days office based / 3 days home based (or fully office based if preferred). As an Assistant role, this position is eligible for Bloomsbury’s Rental Deposit Loan Scheme.
