- Contribute to the strategic delivery of the Infectious Disease programme, particularly in the areas of Vaccines R&D and Human Infection Studies.
- Participate in a dynamic Prevention Team within the larger Infectious Disease Team, working on a comprehensive portfolio of research and development.
- Engage in project implementation, funding assessments, group convening, report drafting, and liaison with various stakeholders.
- Strong background in immunology and infectious disease.
- Knowledge of preventative tools including vaccines.
- Understanding of clinical research and trial processes.
- Project management experience, preferably with a focus on low-and-middle income countries.

We are looking for a Research Manager to contribute to the delivery of the Infectious Disease programme ensuring strategic objectives are met with a specific focus on our Vaccines R&D and Human Infection Studies. This role is part of the Prevention Team which sits within the wider Infectious Disease Team, which will deliver an ambitious portfolio of research, product development, policy and engagement activity.
This role will support the team to fund, convene and share learning in-line with the Infectious Disease strategy by implementing specific projects and activities such as: implementing and assessing funding calls and directed activities, convening groups, drafting reports and liaising with internal and external groups and individuals as required.
To be successful in this role you will have: Have a strong background in immunology and infectious disease Understanding/knowledge of preventative tools e.g. vaccines Understanding of clinical research and trials Project management experience is advantageous experience of working/funding in low-and-middle income country is an asset.

We are currently working 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our Euston Road offices (as part of our hybrid Ways of Working) with the remaining 3 days working either remotely or in the office.
