As Head of Delivery – Secondary ITT, you will lead the delivery of Teach First's Teacher Development programmes for Secondary ITT Teachers. You will be an expert in the delivery of ITT programmes, leading a team to achieve ambitious outcomes. You'll ensure that your team creates high-quality experiences which enable our programme members to succeed, engaging them in their development, the community and in our social purpose and mission to ensure all children are able to achieve their potential.
The Delivery department delivers Teach First's programmes across all areas of England. We support, teach, and develop programme members, trainee teachers their mentors via the delivery of teacher development and leadership programmes. We want all those programme members on our programmes to successfully complete our programmes and go on to be engaged ambassadors of our vision.
We are looking for someone with leadership experience of delivering ITT programmes and able to use this experience and other data to inform strategic decision making for your team and the department. You should have a track record in establishing plans, driving strategies and standards required to deliver against departmental & organisational plans and be able to manage risk and uncertainty with deftness, knowing when to be decisive and how to engage others to achieve impact. You should also be able to lead large and dispersed teams, building high performing teams through; the development and empowerment of others; design and implementation of team systems and processes; and setting clear expectations, priorities and tools to achieve them.
