As a Senior Pricing Data Scientist, you will be part of the Pricing Team, reporting into the Head of Pricing. The team is responsible for managing our loss ratio, underwriting footprint, broker optimisation and growth targets. You will have the opportunity to make a massive contribution to the business, take ownership, move fast, innovate and deliver changes to our rates at high frequency.
Your responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of Marshmallow’s quote, policy and claims data and use this to derive insights that can be used to enhance our pricing. You will also be responsible for conducting claims analysis and claims modelling using SQL and Python, conducting price optimisation analysis/modelling using Python, building and deploying models in APIs for use in real time pricing, and providing analytical support in relationships with reinsurers, regulators and other partners.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, a modeller, commercial, curious, an owner, opinionated, and an explainer. You will have the opportunity to work with a bunch of amazing engineers who ensure we can implement our decisions quickly.
