  • Coordinate and lead EGNOS and SBAS Division activities related to EGNOS data dissemination.
  • Monitor and manage industrial activities, including specifications, design, development, and validation at both hardware and software levels.
  • Support the deployment of EGNOS DDS stations and execute EGNOS demonstrators/testbeds.
  • Master’s degree in physics, telecommunications, or electronic engineering.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in GNSS signal generation and dissemination.
  • Experience with safety-critical and real-time software development is highly beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of an international team.

The European Space Agency is an exciting organisation committed to achieving diversity within the workforce and creating an inclusive working environment. We are currently seeking an EGNOS Data Dissemination Segment (DDS) Engineer to join our team in the Directorate of Navigation.

The role involves coordinating and leading the activities of the EGNOS and SBAS Division associated with the dissemination of EGNOS data. This includes monitoring and managing the industrial activities in the areas of specifications, design, development and validation for the EGNOS Data Dissemination Segment (DDS) at hardware and software level for the different projects of the Division. You will also be responsible for supporting the deployment activities of EGNOS DDS stations and contributing to the execution of EGNOS demonstrators/testbeds.

Job requirements include a master’s in physics, telecommunications or electronic engineering and at least four years of proven experience in the domain of GNSS signal generation and dissemination. Experience in safety-critical software and real-time software development and verification would be a clear advantage. You should have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work autonomously, effectively, and cooperatively in a diverse, international team environment.
