The advertised role will be embedded within Adam Smith International’s European subsidiary, Adam Smith Europe BV. The Manager will support business development efforts through networking, positioning, and guiding geographic and expert teams to develop bids that can generate growth for Adam Smith Europe. The main responsibilities of the job holder will be in business development with a focus on identifying opportunities and preparing technical and financial proposals, with marginal involvement in project management support.
Job requirements include between 2 and 5 years of business development and project management experience in the development sector, with a solid track record of successful income generation, preferably for projects funded by EU institutions. Fluency in English is essential; working proficiency in French is highly preferred, Dutch is an asset. High level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office) is essential; ideally experienced with Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint. Must be eligible to work in the EU.
