Job Description

We’re now looking to expand our customer success team with the key hire of a Customer Success Manager to manage existing clients to ensure satisfaction and success in fostering their progress towards Net Zero.

This is an exciting role for someone who wants to apply their organisational skills with communication expertise to address the most important challenge of our time. 

The role reports directly to the Head of Customer Success, and is focused across the following key areas:

  • Client Management – Helping our clients and partners to derive maximum value from the Net Zero Now service and facilitate sales renewals and upsell. 
  • Customer retention and account management 
  • Customer support
  • Customer reporting
  • Project management
  • Product development – The need for continuous improvement and evolution of the service and platform is essential and our Customer Success Managers are responsible for regular liaison with our Climate and Technical teams to ensure we maintain best practice in climate science and that we simultaneously simplify user experience and expand value derived from the platform.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Development of existing key accounts
  • Ensuring success and renewals
  • Product & solution presentations and demonstrations
  • Contract negotiations
  • Relationship management & involvement with project delivery teams
  • Sales forecasting & reporting using HubSpot CRM
  • Encouraging referrals from existing customers
  • Upselling additional services

Required Experience/Skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a professional customer facing role
  • An interest in climate change and carbon accounting
  • A demonstrable passion for business and environmental issues
  • Exceptional written, verbal, analytical and communication skills
  • Full competence with MS Office or equivalent applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • 2:1 or above at degree level
  • A self-starter mentality and ability to think critically
  • Comfortability presenting in front of clients and groups

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM and Jira Project Management software applications
  • Climate expertise
