ROLE OUTLINE

Shoreditch &Soul is a vibrant community space in the heart of East London, dedicated to fostering connection, personal growth, and transformation through a range of sessions, experiences, workshops, and events that seek to innovate cultural trends. The site comprises multipurpose spaces, a sauna and integration room, changing facilities, and a café. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Curation Lead to oversee the development and implementation of our diverse workshop and event offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of facilitators, musicians and communities, as well as exceptional organisational skills, and a passion for creating impactful experiences. This role will involve curating a wide range of sessions, managing facilitator relationships, reviewing curatorial success, and optimising programming to meet the needs of our community members.

PAY AND EMPLOYMENT TERMS 

SALARY: To be discussed based on experience and capability

COMMITMENT: Flexible; contract/permanent, 40 hours per week (open to a 70-80% time commitment if the network and experience is right)

PAYMENT STRUCTURE: Paid monthly

REQUIREMENTS

  • A deep passion for creating community, dreaming of a new way of being, and daring to innovate.
  • Strong network of contributors within the intimacy, tantra, movement, wellbeing, electronic and live music, regeneration, food, medicine, mens, womens, queer, psychology, and other related communities.
  • Proven experience in programme curation, event management, or community building.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for creating meaningful experiences.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, and experience structuring systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of promotional and marketing strategies, with experience in leveraging networks for outreach and engagement.
  • Experience in assessing facilitators and measuring programme success

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Focus on network, curation and relationship building with direct support from the wider team on admin and event execution.
  • Collaborate with the &Soul team to define programme objectives and themes. Curate a diverse selection of workshops, longer immersions, live music events, talks, and other experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with facilitators, speakers, musicians, and other contributors. Identify and recruit new talent, assess facilitator qualifications and experience, negotiate terms and contracts, and ensure all sessions meet quality standards and community guidelines.
  • Leverage existing networks and actively cultivate new connections within various areas: intimacy, tantra, movement, wellbeing, music, regeneration, food, medicine, mens’, womens’, queer, and shadow work, and other related communities
  • Identify emerging trends, themes, and topics of interest, and stay informed about industry developments and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop comprehensive promotional strategies for all programme offerings. Utilise facilitator networks and industry connections to maximise outreach and engagement. Track and analyse promotional efforts to measure effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Liaise with the Front of House team and Operations Manager on a weekly basis, ensuring they are equipped with a thorough understanding and knowledge of every session and activation as well as the logistics involved to execute the programme. 
  • Develop methods for assessing facilitators and measuring the success of programme offerings. Collect feedback from participants, track attendance and engagement metrics, and use data insights to continuously improve programming and enhance the participant experience.
  • Collaborate with facilitators to design and deliver sauna integration sessions, workshops, and ceremonies.
