Role Summary

Role Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a data or commercial analyst.
- Prior experience with prediction engines is highly desirable.
- Proficient in SQL and Python, including libraries such as pandas, numpy, and PySpark.
- Experience in pricing, revenue management, or go-to-market strategies.
- Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- A good sense of humor and willingness to engage in table tennis and office culture.
- A fondness for dogs is a plus.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help us maintain and improve our proprietary dynamic pricing engine called Smart Pricing. It is a homegrown product that predicts the correct price point for a fashion item based on various signals attributed to the items as well as buying patterns of our users. It is the finest blend of superior algorithms and a carefully curated and managed data store and has been one of our highest value services to our customers. Now we are looking for a senior analyst who can take it to the next level and beyond. If you love working with data that can in effect turn the fortunes of a business, this role is for you!
Your responsibilities
Smart Pricing Engine is a platform that decides a definite price point of an item that gives the best chance to be sold. It covers reading different data points within the platform and being able to predict the best market price for a product with the help of ML modelling and algorithms. As a Senior Data Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining the Smart Pricing Engine and the demand forecast model
- Development of new features, maintaining the existing ones and monitoring model performance
- Analysing commercial performance and make tweaks to the model to continuously improve
- Coordinating with the team, stakeholders and active input into the roadmap from technical and business standpoint
What you’ll bring to the team:
- 5+ years’ experience as a data or commercial analyst
- Experience with prediction engines is ideal; fluency in SQL is a must-have
- Experience with Python code, including packages and libraries such as pandas, numpy and PySpark as well as time series forecasting
- Experience working in pricing, revenue management or go to market strategies
- Knowledge of working in Agile and/or Scrum
- Strong communication and team/stakeholder collaboration skills
- A knack for problem-solving and passion for technology
- Fluency in English and in SQL are must-haves
- A sense of humour and strong table tennis skills (or are willing to learn from the pros in the Tech department).
