Role Summary

  • Organise and analyse transactional data for partner reports and payments.
  • Read and summarise contract information to adhere to terms.
  • Manage workflow to comply with partner deadlines.
  • Prepare timely payments and reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve payment issues.
  • Maintain financial transaction records for event payouts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for scalability and efficiency.
  • Assist with ad hoc requests from Operations and external partners.

Role Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in Excel.
  • Experience with Looker and Netsuite is advantageous.
  • Ability to work with large, unstructured data sets.
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Spanish language skills are desirable.

We’re looking for a Partner Settlements Accountant to join our Finance team in London.

About the role

We are seeking a talented individual to join the team and focus on preparing and reconciling settlement statements for our partners and venues. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, will be comfortable analysing and summarising large data sets and have superior spreadsheet skills.

You’ll be

  • Organising, summarising and analysing transactional data compiled from various sources for partners’ reports and payments. 
  • Reading, extracting and summarising contract information to ensure partners’ reporting adheres to contractual terms.
  • Managing workflow to ensure compliance with contractual deadlines to partners are met.
  • Ensuring payments and reports are prepared in a timely manner
  • Working closely with various internal teams to identify payments and reporting related issues and resolve them. 
  • Assisting with record keeping of all financial transactions related to events payout in both client facing and financial system.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets 
  • Committed to meet month end and other deadlines set by the team
  • Identifying process and systems related opportunities within the partners settlement function and assisting in implementing changes to drive scalability, efficiency and productivity.
  • Assisting with ad hoc requests from Operations teams and external partners.

You’ll need

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business.
  • Solid relevant experience in a similar function.
  • Expert Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with Looker and Netsuite is a bonus.
  • Comfortable working with large unstructured data from various sources.
  • High degree of attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to balance and prioritise work.
  • Spanish language skills (desirable)
