Role Summary:
- Design, maintain, and enhance the Flo Data Intelligence Platform.
- Take ownership of key Data Platform components like AWS MWAA, AWS S3, Databricks, Looker.
- Drive automation across all Data Platform layers.
- Develop and implement metrics to assess Data Platform Healthiness.
- Champion continuous delivery practices.
Role Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience with Data Platforms (Data Lake/LakeHouse).
- Proficiency in AWS EMR, GCP BigQuery, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- Prior experience in roles focused on managing and optimizing Data Platforms.
- Understanding of Data Platform architecture and data processing principles.
- Expertise in IAC (Terraform) and automation within data platforms.
- Robust monitoring and management of platform metrics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to design solutions, create diagrams, and document architectural decisions.
- Experience with orchestration services like Airflow (preferred).
- Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, and other modern data platform capabilities (preferred).
- Background in data interoperability and semantic layer implementations such as Look ML (preferred).
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools and multiple programming/scripting languages (preferred).
Salary Range:
- Lithuania: €6600 – €9300 gross per month.
- Compensation may vary based on skills, competencies, and experience.

Your Experience
Must have:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with Data Platforms (Data Lake/LakeHouse), including proficiency in technologies such as AWS EMR, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) BigQuery, or Databricks, coupled with experience in roles such as Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or System Engineer, specifically focused on managing and optimizing Data Platforms.
- Knowledge of Data Platform architecture and data processing principles.
- Expertise in automation in reusable patterns within data platforms and IAC (Terraform)
- Robust production awareness by skillful monitoring and precise management of metrics.
- Proficiency in cross-functional solid communication and collaboration, alongside the ability to design solutions, create diagrams, and document architecture decisions.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of orchestration services like Airflow
- Knowledge of a diverse set of modern data platform capabilities (Kafka, Spark, etc)
- Background in data interoperability and semantic layers implementations (Look ML)
- Deep expertise in CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket pipelines or BuildKite
- Background in multiple programming/scripting languages, e.g., Scala, Golang, Python, bash, etc.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Contribution to the goal of data democratization by creating, maintaining, and improving the Flo Data Intelligence Platform product.
- Owning Data Platform main components: AWS MWAA, AWS S3, Databricks, Looker.
- Maximizing automation across all Data Platform layers.
- Designing and implementing metrics for Data Platform Healthiness.
- Continuous Delivery.
Salary Range:
Lithuania - €6600 – €9300 gross per month.
