Role Summary

As a Senior Compensation Specialist, you will be working in the People Team in Reward and Wellbeing. You will report to the Compensation and Recognition Manager and be an integral team member of this small team. The team are responsible for ensuring that reward and recognition supports the Wellcome culture and that people working at Wellcome feel valued and can thrive.

In this role you will contribute to helping Wellcome achieve its strategic objectives. You will play a key part in ensuring that the annual cycle of compensation and recognition activities are delivered accurately and to time as well as leading, designing or delivering other ad hoc projects.

We are looking for an experienced Compensation professional with a deep understanding of Reward and Recognition. You need to have broad experience of building successful relationships and influencing at a senior management level and will need to be resilient, adaptable and able to react to changing business requirements.

Our Hybrid Way of Working: We understand that our colleagues have commitments and personal interests outside of work and we strive to build a flexible working environment, in which people can perform at their best. We are currently working 2 days per week (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) from our Euston Road offices (as part of our hybrid Ways of Working) with the remaining 3 days working either remotely or in the office. From 1st September 2024 we will move to 3 days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
