  • Lead and motivate a team of four managers and over 50 co-owners across different shifts, focusing on warehousing, goods in, and recycling operations.
  • Report directly to the Production Director, balancing immediate needs with long-term strategic projects.
  • Champion a culture centered around the highest health and safety standards.
  • Engage in our ITT programme to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality products by empowering your team and addressing supply chain challenges.
  • Oversee labor budgets and effectively manage capital expenditure projects.
  • Create a positive work environment, set clear objectives, and promote team growth and development.
  • Proven experience managing large teams in a fast-paced FMCG environment, preferably in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • Expertise in coaching, performance management, and financial management.
  • Adept with ERP systems, particularly AX, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to drive change and growth.

Position: Production Manager
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Wash Farm, Devon, TQ11 0JU
Hours: 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday (Core hours: 11am - 5:30pm with flexible timing)

What You’ll Do:
As Production Manager, you'll lead four team managers and over 50 co-owners across two shifts at our Wash Barn site. Reporting to the Production Director, your focus will include warehousing, goods in, and returns and recycling. You'll balance daily priorities and long-term projects, ensuring optimal people, product, and process alignment to meet business standards. This role is Ideal for someone experienced in leading high-performing teams within a values-driven organisation, committed to inclusive development beyond just operational KPIs.

  • Inspire a culture of exceptional health and safety standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement with our ITT programme.
  • Deliver high-quality products consistently by enhancing team expertise and reducing supply chain issues.
  • Manage labour budgets and spearhead capital expenditure plans from development through execution.
  • Develop  a dynamic and positive work environment, setting clear goals and fostering team development.

Who You Are:

  • A seasoned manager with experience leading 50+ people in a fast-paced FMCG environment. This can be either in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • Skilled in coaching, performance management, and financial oversight.
  • Proficient with ERP systems (AX preferred) and knowledgeable in CI process improvements.
  • Adaptable, a strong communicator, and capable of inspiring change and growth within your teams.
