In the past six years, smol has taken the household cleaning market by storm. We are already the fastest growing and most positively reviewed brand in the laundry, dishwash, fabric conditioner and surface spray categories and we’ve got so much more planned.

In Summary...
At smol we pride ourselves on our best-in-class customer service, and we're looking for a friendly, calm and organised person who really enjoys looking after customers to join our award-winning team.
This is a fully remote role, working from home part time on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. A normal working day is 7.5 hours with a 30 minute break - on Sundays you can choose the hours that suit you, between 8am and 6pm; on Mondays and Tuesdays we need cover from 10.30am until 6.30pm.
What does the role involve?...
Working as a team to respond to 600+ customer emails every day.
Solving a variety of issues; delivery tracking, cancellations, refunds and often more detailed requests for more information about our products.
Online working, across 3+ different customer management and internal communication systems.
Being in constant contact with your fellow customer service agents and other departments in order to keep up to date with business news, ask for help where needed, and to give help to others.
You will need/be...
Proven experience looking after people; dealing with questions, queries, solving problems (this doesn’t have to be a customer service role, it could include anyone who is used to looking after people and helping them solve problems).
Really confident using technology and different systems and programmes (often at the same time).
A naturally positive, outgoing, friendly and service-oriented personality.
Calm under pressure, able to manage difficult customers and awkward situations.
Proactive, able to solve problems and chase down answers quickly.
Able to work alone, remotely, as well as stay connected with our virtual team, including our annual colleague event, smolfest!
Excellent reading and writing in English is essential, and an appreciation of our brand tone of voice is desirable.
Previous experience using ZenDesk and/or Recharge is desirable.
Reliable internet access is essential.
