What will you be doing?

SOA_TALK a peer-to-peer support group for mental health are asking for you to Join us as a volunteer WordPress Website Builder and Digital Content Manager and play a vital role in expanding our reach and impact online! Designing Bespoke, Wordpress and e-commerce website as well as digital marketing, SEO, and brand development, You'll play a key role in ensuring our website remains polished and functional while assisting our charity in crafting a visually stunning and user-friendly site.   Website Development: Design and develop a user-friendly WordPress website that reflects our charity's mission, vision, and values. Customize themes, layouts, and functionality to create an engaging online experience for visitors. Content Management: Regularly update website content, including blog posts, articles, and resource pages, to provide valuable information and support to our community. Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with our messaging. SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to improve website visibility and ranking on search engines. Conduct keyword research, optimize meta tags, and create high-quality, SEO-friendly content to attract organic traffic. Fundraising Integration: Create dedicated fundraising pages and donation forms on the website to encourage supporters to contribute financially to our cause. Implement secure payment gateways and tracking mechanisms to facilitate online donations. E-commerce Setup: Establish an online store on the website to sell charity merchandise, such as branded apparel, accessories, and promotional items. Set up product listings, manage inventory, and streamline the checkout process for a seamless shopping experience. Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for website-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Address any bugs, glitches, or security vulnerabilities in a timely manner. Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing and fundraising teams to align website content and design with overall branding and campaign strategies. Coordinate efforts to promote fundraising events, campaigns, and merchandise sales through the website. What are we looking for?

A great passion for helping to support our mission to help people with their mental health struggles  An understanding of Mental health charity work  Proficiency in WordPress development, including theme customization, plugin integration, and e-commerce setup. Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience implementing SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and engagement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and informative content. Experience with online fundraising platforms and payment gateways, such as PayPal, Stripe, or Donorbox. Prior experience in web development, digital marketing, or e-commerce is preferred but not required.
