About the role
Oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet organisational requirements.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, for example Cyber Essentials.
Liaising with external partners, e.g pentesters, to detect and respond to vulnerabilities.
Responsible for ensuring IT / Security awareness and training @ Beam.
Develop and implement IT strategies and infrastructure to support business operations.
Ensure the security and compliance of IT systems and infrastructure by implementing robust security measures.
Monitor and analyse security alerts and reports, addressing vulnerabilities promptly.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, including audits of existing devices and software applications.
You’ll experience
Ownership of IT at Beam, with some support from an administrator and exec
Working across the company supporting employees by managing IT operations, including handling IT requests and managing enterprise applications such as Google, Trello, and Slack.
Addressing any issues and opportunities with enterprise applications, ensuring they remain fit for purpose
Conduct antivirus checks and ensure programmes are correctly installed and functioning across all devices.
Consult on software and hardware purchasing and budget control:
Manage mobile SIMs (PAYG replacement) and develop a system for reusing old SIMs.
Managing projects around compliance and supporting business operations as we scale and diversify
Engaging with the senior leadership team and advising on IT matter - from strategic to tactical
