- Expertise in curriculum design and content development for teacher education.
- Knowledge of curriculum sequencing for Secondary education.
- Significant experience in teacher training programme delivery.
- Ability to develop others within a specific educational phase or subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and school leadership experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the Teachers’ Standards, ITT Core Content Framework, and the Early Career Framework.

As Head of Design and Delivery - Secondary Subjects, you will be the strategic expert in Secondary education for the organisation. You will lead the approach to developing teachers, leaders and mentors in this phase across our programmes. You will be responsible for our Design approach across programmes, working collaboratively with other senior leaders in Design and Delivery. You will work collaboratively across Design and Delivery departments to realise our vision for our teacher development programmes.
You will lead and develop our approach to Secondary subject specific teacher & leader education, working closely with Subject Design and Delivery managers and Subject Design and Delivery Leads. Your work will result in teachers who are highly effective practitioners in their subject who can unlock the potential of all children.
We are looking for someone with proven expertise in designing curricula and content for developing teachers, knowledge of effective curriculum sequencing in the Secondary phase, significant expertise in the delivery of teacher training programmes, and experience of developing others within the context of your phase/subject specialism. You should have QTS and have been a school leader, and your knowledge of the Teachers’ Standards (2012), the Initial Teacher Training (ITT) Core Content Framework and the Early Career Framework should be excellent.
