- Ability to work cross-functionally and with remote teams to solve issues end-to-end.
- Project leadership capabilities, particularly in automating manual tasks.

The role As we continue to grow in size, scale and complexity, we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join us. Working as part of our Product Control team, this newly created role will support our trading activity reconciliation to ensure timely and accurate reporting of our balance sheet position. The successful applicant will be joining at an exciting time as we invest in strengthening our Accounting operations capabilities and improve the quality and robustness of balance sheet reporting, particularly standardisation and automation of reconciliations.
Job requirements Professional finance qualification such as the ACA or equivalent. You will also hold practical knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles 4+ years work experience with complex balance sheet reconciliations Experience of working in a high-volume, complex and dynamic environment in a complex, regulatory environment, ideally within Payments/FinTech or Financial Services Extremely strong working knowledge of MS Excel. Strong data analytics skills and experience handling large volumes of data. Proven ability to find end-to-end solutions to issues and work cross-functionally and with remote teams - including Finance, Product, Engineering, Data. Ability to lead projects of high complexity to automate manual tasks with the team or department.
