The Ellen MacArthur Foundation is seeking a Senior Fundraising Manager. This senior position will take a leading role in the campaign to secure philanthropic funds (circa £15 mill over 5 years) that will deliver our Plastics strategy.
The Role: You will report to our Philanthropy Lead and have responsibility for developing new funding relationships, securing substantial unrestricted grants and donations for the Foundation across a range of projects. You will also be responsible for proactively identifying and qualifying potential funders through a variety of approaches including research, networking, and collaboration with project teams. You will be expected to deliver exceptional internal relationships with EMF Leads in UK, Europe, North America, Brazil and China to bring deep subject expertise, knowledge and capability to funder conversations.
Job Requirements: An experienced fundraiser with a proven track record of securing high 6 figure multi-year funding across various sectors. A successful history of leading or influencing complex projects with evidence of turning that complexity into simple and compelling narrative. Track record of holding relationships at a senior level. Confident public speaker with excellent networking skills. Experience within relevant field such as plastics/circular economy/systems change will be a definite advantage. Strong financial and budgetary skills.
