Role Summary:

  • Facilitate tenant onboarding from initial payment to move-in, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Coordinate pre-tenancy maintenance and compliance checks like Gas and Electrical Safety Checks.
  • Liaise with the sales team to oversee offer agreements and communicate any changes with landlords.
  • Prepare and distribute Tenancy Agreements.
  • Keep abreast of compliance with housing legislation and policy changes.
  • Ensure effective interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
  • Support in managing new tenancies, tenant and landlord changeovers, and related documentation.
  • Maintain impeccable records and file organization.
  • Promote an exceptional customer experience throughout the rental process.

Role Requirements:

  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with numbers and basic financial calculations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships and customer service.
  • Efficient administrative capabilities and a solution-driven mindset.

Tenant Advisor, Customer Experience | Home Made

Then join our vibrant Tenancy Operations Team as we continue our rapid expansion. We're seeking a dynamic individual who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and is passionate about revolutionising the rental industry.

Working hours: 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and every other Saturday (1/2 day) - with a 1/2 day back in lieu

Salary: £27K-£32K

Office location: Southwark (office base role, 1 day WFH post probation), note that the Saturday 1/2 day is WFH)


The role:

Includes but not limited to…



    • Guide tenants seamlessly from holding payment to move-in day, ensuring a customer-centric journey every step of the way. Take them through referencing, contracts, move in day questions and ultimately their final financial payments to move in.
    • Booking in pre-tenancy maintenance and compliance requirements - i.e. Gas Safety Checks, Electrical Safety Checks.
    • Work with the sales team to ensure that offer agreements are being held and any changes are covered with the landlord.
    • Draft Tenancy Agreements for distribution.
    • Stay ahead of the curve on compliance with legislation, keeping up-to-date with policy changes and regulations.
    • Be the glue that ensures smooth communication and collaboration between departments.
    • Working with internal team to support in new tenancies, including tenant changeovers, landlord changeovers, addendums and deeds of surrender.
    • Keeping a record of important documents and maintaining the organisation of files.
    • Champion the customer experience.


About You:


  • You excel in written communication 
  • Numbers don't scare you, don't worry you don't need to be a whizz but you need to feel comfortable with rental figures and percentages.
  • Builds strong connections through interpersonal skills and top-notch customer service
  • Navigates administrative tasks like a pro, keeping things running smoothly
  • Drives for results, always seeking effective solutions
