Plus X Innovation is looking for a part-time Workshop Technician to ensure the safe and efficient running of our advanced physical product prototyping space. This includes machines and processes covering everything from woodwork to 3D printing, sewing to CNC machining.
The role entails cleaning and maintenance of the space, planned preventative maintenance of our equipment, and responsive repairs when required. This role is customer-facing, providing support, training, and expertise on machines and processes to our members who use the workshop facilities to develop or manufacture products.
Job requirements include the ability to operate and maintain core workshop equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters, basic hand, power tools, and workshop tools. Some knowledge of more advanced or specialised workshop equipment is also required. We value great behaviours, just as much as qualifications and skills.
