The European Space Agency is offering an exciting internship opportunity in the Directorate of Technology, Engineering and Quality. The position is based at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The role involves providing Programme Directorates with the TEC entry point for system engineering support to projects. The intern will also support ESA programmes in areas such as End-to-End Performance System Engineering, Space Segment Systems Engineering, In-Orbit Technology Demonstration and Validation, and Development of Future Engineering Tools and Processes.

Job requirements include being a university student, preferably in your final or second-to-last year of a university course at Master’s level. You need to remain enrolled at your University for the entire duration of the internship. A good knowledge of English or French is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset. Some experience on basic laboratory hardware usage and testing, good knowledge of MATLAB, PYTHON or other programming languages, and familiarity with satellite communications are also required.
