- Role Summary:
- Develop high-quality code and comprehensive tests
- Design solutions for key projects within the Host Operations Management Group
- Participate in architectural decisions and apply best practices for code improvement
- Work on service separation for enhanced code stability and maintainability
- Engage in Scrum and Backend Engineering Tribe activities
- Focus on technical objectives and key results
- Enhance backend engineers' technical knowledge
- Address and document technical debt and improvement areas
- Role Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of Laravel experience
- Proficient in microservices architecture and Domain-Driven Design
- Skilled in Unit and Integration Testing
- Knowledgeable in API and data security best practices
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of SOLID principles
- Fluency in English

⭐️ Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with strong knowledge of Laravel to join our dynamic and rapidly growing international team. In this role, you will contribute to one of our key projects in the Host Operations Management Group. We seek someone who enjoys challenges, embraces innovative problem-solving, and is dedicated to supporting Lodgify's growth and success. ⭐ How will you make an impact?
Write high quality code, fully covering the code with tests Contribute to the initial solution design for critical features or complex refactors Engage in architectural discussions with the team Apply best practices to improve existing code Collaborate in separating features into independent services to improve code stability and maintainability Actively participate in teamwork (Scrum, BE Tribe) Drive and support team’s focus on technical OKRs Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical knowledge of backend engineers Identify, document and prioritise technical debt and areas of improvement Flag and ensure technical debt is documented and considered when defining priorities.⭐ What makes you a great fit?
Minimum 5 years of experience working with Laravel Strong understanding of microservices architecture Good knowledge of Domain-Driven Design Good practices in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, etc. Strong understanding of security best practices related to APIs and data privacy Experience working with container managers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms Strong analysis skills to understand existing code and excellent grasp of SOLID principles Good level of spoken and written English.Why you’ll love us:
