The Good Law Project is looking for a Lead Investigator for the 'Dark Money' project. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that uses the law to hold power to account, protect the environment and ensure no one is left behind.

The Role: Reporting to the Director of Campaigns, the post-holder will supply Good Law Project with a pipeline of exposés that will win commissions from the UK’s leading news outlets, thereby contributing to the exposure of the Tufton Street axis, and helping to clean up our politics. The role is full time with a Fixed Term 12-month contract and offers hybrid working with a requirement to attend our office in central London regularly – minimum of 2/3 days a week.

Job Requirements: We are looking for someone with a track record of powerful investigative journalism, successfully pitching and bringing newsworthy stories of illicit activity conducted by harmful organisations or individuals to public attention. Experience of reporting and managing risk, self-managing, remote working, working with open source data and proprietary databases, and working with different departments across an organisation is essential. Great strategic nous and digital journalism skills are also required.

Benefits: The role offers a salary of £60,000 with generous benefits including 25 days annual holiday plus public holidays, enhanced pension contribution, private medical health insurance, life assurance.
