- Role Summary:
- Lead in developing and improving our records management function
- Work closely with various Wellcome departments to manage their created and handled information
- Manage off-site storage of records and coordinate related processes and procedures
- Contract management for off-site storage providers
- Stay updated with legislative developments and best practices in information and records management
- Role Requirements:
- Experience in operational and strategic records management
- Experience in applying Records Management best practices to practical processes and advice translation for stakeholders at all levels
- A degree in an information management related discipline or equivalent experience

The role entails leading in developing and improving our records management function, working with colleagues from across Wellcome to understand the work they do and manage the information that they create and handle. You will be responsible for the management of off-site storage of records and associated processes and procedures, including contract management for off-site storage providers. You will also need to keep-up-to date with legislative developments and best practice in information and records management requirements.
Job requirements include experience in operational and strategic records management, experience of applying Records Management best practice to practical processes and translating into advice for all levels of stakeholders. You should have a degree level qualification in an information management related discipline or equivalent experience.
Benefits include a flexible working environment, in which people can perform at their best. We have a hybrid way of working which is 3 days in our Euston Road offices (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
