We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Admin Volunteer to join our HR team who can commit 8-10 hours per week.

What will you be doing?

Are you passionate about supporting people and have excellent organisational skills? This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the vital work of The Society of St James (SSJ) by providing essential administrative support. Tasks involved in the role:

Reminding line managers of 3-month probationary reviews. File away any necessary documents. Deal with basic HR inbox queries as instructed by HR Admin. Provide other areas of HR support to the team where required. Assist with other administrative related tasks. Arrange interviews, if necessary, as instructed by the HR Admin. Download vacancy applications and send these to relevant managers. Monitor the ‘reference, DBS and contract record’ spreadsheet. So the HR Admin can action starter paperwork.

SSJ can be flexible with hours and days. Some WFH opportunity or could come into the office except for Tuesdays.

What are we looking for?

HR experience would be benifical Administrative experience Excellent Communication Skills Attention to detail Keeping the goal in mind Good Level of IT literacy in MS Office suite

Your volunteer efforts will bolster our HR team, enabling them to better support our dedicated workforce. These individuals play a crucial role in assisting vulnerable adults impacted by substance misuse, homelessness, mental health struggles, and involvement with the criminal justice system.
