What will you be doing?
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Grants Writer to join our team. The Grants Writer will be responsible for researching and writing grant proposals, identifying funding opportunities, and ensuring that our applications meet all requirements and deadlines. Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential funding opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and corporations. Write compelling grant proposals that align with our mission and goals. Prepare and submit grant applications within specified deadlines. Collaborate with our leadership team to understand our financial needs and ensure we attain funding. Develop budgets for proposed projects and programs. Follow up on submitted proposals and provide feedback to the organization. Keep detailed records of all submitted, pending, and awarded grants. Assist with budget management and preparation of financial reports.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Grants Writer or in a similar role. Exceptional research, writing, and organizational skills. Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel. Great knowledge of fundraising information sources. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
