Workforce Controller in the Workforce Management Office, Directorate of Internal Services. The Office is responsible for the evolution of the Agency's organisation, including the overall workforce strategy and governance, ensuring the consistent and efficient use of the available resources according to needs and priorities.
You will report to the Head of the Workforce Management Office and will be responsible for managing workforce allocations, evaluating, consolidating and maintaining workforce plans, and reporting on their implementation and associated costs. You will analyse workforce data and contribute to the evolution of workforce management tools.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include: managing allocations for each workforce category and monitoring their evolution; defining metrics and introducing benchmarks to support workforce distribution; contributing to the Agency-wide workload planning, assessing needs and identifying opportunities for workforce redeployment; evaluating, consolidating and maintaining directorates' workforce plans, ensuring alignment with the sourcing model; verifying the implementation of workforce plans and reporting on the workforce evolution and associated costs; performing analyses, simulations, and reporting on workforce data and costs; proposing measures to increase efficiency and effectiveness in the use of the Agency's workforce; managing the operation and evolution of workforce planning and control tools, supporting the harmonisation and streamlining of systems and processes.
You should also have: the ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions; the ability to work in a collaborative environment and interact with internal/external stakeholders.

In principle, recruitment will be within the advertised grade band (A2-A4). However, if the selected candidate has less than four years of relevant professional experience following the completion of the master’s degree, the position may be filled at A1 level. During the recruitment process, the Agency may request applicants to undergo selection tests. Additionally, successful candidates will need to undergo basic screening before appointment, which will be conducted by an external background screening service, in compliance with the European Space Agency's security procedures.

The working languages of the Agency are English and French. A good knowledge of one of these is required. Knowledge of another Member State language would be an asset.
