The role

As Numan’s Social Media Lead, you will be responsible for driving a transformational shift in our approach, propelling us to become one of the top brands on social media in the UK. Your goal will be to accelerate Numan’s growth and engagement across organic channels, creating a valuable new way for us to connect directly with both current and future patients.

You will have full autonomy in developing a social strategy that brings Numan’s brand to life through community-building, fame-driving campaigns, social partnerships, and influencer collaborations.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media across all platforms—someone who understands how to grow brands through social, can articulate the strategy behind it, and has demonstrable experience in doing so.

This will be a challenging role, but for the right person, it’s a career-defining opportunity to elevate a brand to new heights and create something truly memorable.

You’ll be:

Leading Numan’s Social Strategy

  • Developing, refining, and leading the overall social strategy.
  • Being ultimately responsible for growing Numan’s social following across core channels—Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Identifying new opportunities in the social space, such as emerging channels and subcultures (e.g. Reddit).
  • Working alongside the wider brand, content, and PR team to align key activities and maximise the overall impact of campaigns.

Creating Powerful Content & Community

  • Producing and delivering engaging and unique social content that strengthened Numan’s brand voice across core channels.
  • Ensuring Numan was seen as a leader and expert while remaining interesting, giving people a reason to follow and engage with content daily.
  • Building a community on Numan’s social platforms and interacting with the audience on a day-to-day basis.
  • Working with clinicians to develop opinion pieces.
  • Acting as the social brand guardian, working with broader Numan teams to support the development of a visual identity and tone curated for social. Ensuring content appeared authentic and native, encouraging sharing in newsfeeds.
  • Growing Numan’s presence on YouTube, keeping SEO in mind and working towards getting videos featured on YouTube’s health shelf.
  • Supporting BAU content, including but not limited to paid social advertising, product and model shoots, and ideation for wider marketing activity.

Tracking, Reporting, and Optimising

  • Staying abreast of industry trends, news, and cultural moments.
  • Reporting weekly on social media performance.
  • Balancing paid and organic growth to achieve clear targets.
  • Managing budgets for optimising social content.
  • Conducting ongoing social listening of competitors and adjacent companies in the industry.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Knowledge in the social space and an understanding of how to grow brands on social media.
  • Brilliant content creation skills across multiple disciplines (design, editing, writing, etc.).
  • Experience using tools like Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.
  • A passion for communication.
  • Confidence in standing up for what they believe is right.
  • A curiosity for the "why," not just the "how."
  • Excitement for changing health trends and technologies.
  • Knowledge of social media and analytics software (e.g. Google Analytics).
  • Experience in online marketing and managing social media channels.
