Role Summary

  • Report to the Nigeria People Lead, assisting in designing learning and development plans for career growth and equity
  • Coordinate HR programs and implement annual training initiatives
  • Prepare and utilize performance development review (PDR) reports to design training contents
  • Model company values, invest in people, and provide strategic advice on learning, development and performance management

Role Requirements

  • 5+ years professional experience in Human Resources with at least 3+ years as a learning and development specialist
  • Understanding of Performance Management process
  • 2+ years experience in instructional design for trainings
  • Experience in managing projects and people
  • Creative thinking for problem-solving

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund supplies smallholder farmers in nine countries with the agricultural services they need to make their farms more productive. We provide quality farm supplies, delivered within walking distance of farmers' homes, and agricultural training to improve harvests. We measure our success by our ability to make farmers more prosperous: On average, farmers harvest 50 percent more food after working with One Acre Fund.

The Role You will report to the Nigeria People Lead. You will support the People lead in designing learning and development plans to inform career growth, professional development, and equity at One Acre Fund. You will coordinate HR programs and also implement annual training initiatives and plans. You will also prepare performance development review (PDR) summary reports and design PDR training contents based on the reports. You will model One Acre Fund values, invest in people, and engage across the team and act as a business advisor and strategic partner in matters relating to learning and development and performance management.

Job Requirements 5+ years of professional experience in Human Resources with at least 3+ years as a learning and development specialist with understanding of Performance Management process. 2+ years of experience in instructional design for trainings. Experienced in managing projects and people. Creativity thinking to look for alternative solutions to problems.
