Role Summary:
- Create 2D CAD drawings of plant components and infrastructure

Role Requirements:

Your Mission
We are constantly expanding into cutting - edge renewable energy projects, driving the future of sustainable power solutions. As a key contributor, you will design innovative layouts for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and renewable energy plants, ensuring maximum efficiency and seamless grid integration. Key Responsibilities
This is a broad and varied role with the opportunity to have massive impact. Key responsibilities including:
- Create high quality 2D CAD drawings, including site layouts and Single Line Diagrams (SLD’s) of BESS modules, associated plant components and infrastructure, for Grid Connection Applications and Pre-Building Applications.
- Design and optimise detailed substation layouts, including switchgear, busbars, transformers and cabling arrangements to facilitate grid connection processes
- Work directly with our German Grid Lead in preparing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with local Grid regulations
- Maintain accurate records of design iterations and project documentation
- Assist in technical discussions with grid operators and external stakeholders as required
- Collaborate with other engineering functions and project teams to optimise design solutions
- Incorporate technical requirements into layouts while adhering to applicable standards and regulations
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with strong and demonstrable experience in electrical and grid -related drawings
- Strong understanding of grid connection requirements, electrical layouts and SLD’s
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and regulatory guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to design work
- Good command of English and German
- Preferably a degree in electrical engineering or architecture with knowledge of electrical components or comparable work experience within this field.
