Greycoat Lumley's client invites adaunting couple to join their hospitality business at an Estate in Sutherland, Scotland, which is rapidly advancing business and cares deeply about landscape conservation. Working with existing Chef, Kitchen Staff, Operations Manager, and Housekeepers, Role Summary:
- Ameliorate the team's hospitality levels.
- Ensure 'being available, but not intrusive'
- Efficiently manage the property and guests services.
- Capably host a diverse pool of guests.
- Resolve daily issues.
- Cater to guests' requests and proactively enhance their stay.
- Maintain the property.
- Manage the hospitality end when the Operations Manager is off.
Role Requirements:

Couple – Front and Back of House Job – Sutherland, Scotland
Greycoat Lumley’s client are seeking a Couple for their Estate in Sutherland, Scotland. The Estate is rapidly developing its hospitality business and are looking for a Couple who can help them to grow further and to build their reputation with guests.
There are other members of the team including, Chef and Kitchen staff, an Operations Manager, rangers and 2 local Housekeepers.
If you join the team, you will be joining a team which is as passionate about conservation and the Scottish landscapes, as it is about hospitality.
Duties Include:
- Someone who can help the team take their hospitality to the next level.
- To adhere to the ethos of ‘being available, but not intrusive’
- Responsible for the day to day running of all aspect of the property and guests services
- Able to welcome and comfortably host a wide range of people; from easy going nature lovers to wealthy and demanding individuals
- Building good rapport with guests
- Solving day to day problems
- Able to accommodate all requests including proactively seeking to enhance the guests stay
- Property Maintenance
Between them, the Couple should be able to operate the hospitality side of the estate on the own when the Operations Manager is away and work closely with the estate, kitchen and housekeeping teams.
Peak time for the estate is May to October each year. There are quiet times of the year where the Couple can take holiday and complete tasks that aren’t possible when there are guests.
Our client is looking for business acumen and awareness, good communication skills, attention to detail, passion for food and all things hospitality, understanding of service levels and styles, flair for nature and ambition to achieve the highest levels of service possible.
