As a Project Manager in our China team, you will work closely with the Programme manager and the Head of our China Office to lead project management and delivery of specific aspects within the China Programme, particularly around Climate and Critical Raw Materials focus areas. You will provide advice and tools to develop and run projects, making connections with key organisations in the local market, and facilitate knowledge exchange in different countries through thought leadership development, workshops, meetings and events.

Your role will involve leading a specific aspect within the China Programme with a primary focus on Critical Raw Materials (CRM), developing an approach (aligned with the EMF China strategy) creating implementation plan, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders including companies, cities, philanthropists, policymakers, academics, and NGOs.

The ideal candidate should have a good academic record and degree level qualifications in environment, climate, political, or other relevant discipline. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a role related to Climate, Critical Raw Materials or NGOs is required. It is essential that you have proven experience of working across multiple projects and managing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. You must have the right to work in China without employer sponsorship.
