The Role As Chair of the Accreditation Committee, you will play an important role in helping to raise standards in museums so that public trust is retained in them as long-term custodians of our shared heritage. You will lead the Committee at an interesting time as we start a user-focussed redesign of Accreditation, while keeping the scheme open to participants throughout. We want to ensure it is meeting the needs of those running museums, helping them to be accountable and to be planning for a successful and sustainable future.
Job Requirements We are looking for a museum leader who is passionate about museums and public collections and their role and potential and is knowledgeable about the museum and heritage sector throughout the UK.
Benefits This is a voluntary role, with UK expenses reimbursed. An allowance is available to freelance/self-employed Accreditation Committee Members.
