Role Summary
- Full-time Marketing Manager role, responsible for Acquisition, Growth and Retention
- Duration of 12 months maternity cover contract
- Act as a leader for a team of four, managing Growth, Social and 2 x CRM

Code First Girls is on a mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry by providing employment through free education. We’ve already helped more than 200,000 women learn to code, and by working with companies globally, we’re boosting employability, diversity and social mobility, transforming local economies and communities. We are expanding further with the launch of our Code First Teams brand (for employee training) and opening up more international opportunities and markets with our client partners. Our aim is to provide a million opportunities for women to learn to code and participate in the industry in the next five years, becoming the world’s first EdTech unicorn dedicated to women.
We’re looking for a teammate to join us full-time for a 12-month maternity cover contract, as a Marketing Manager looking after our Acquisition, Growth and Retention. This role would start May 2025 and reports to our Marketing Director as part of the Marketing Team inside the business. This role will manage four direct reports (Growth, Social, 2 x CRM).
You will have a passion for social impact and a desire to change the technology industry. You will be bold and innovative and able to work autonomously and proactively whilst being open to feedback and continuous improvement. You will be able to work in a fast-paced, high-performance team and enjoy a high-growth business. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to suggest new things, is eager to learn and comes with loads of ideas as to how to create different ways to optimise our customer experience and build upon our communications.
We offer a range of benefits including 20 days annual leave plus 7 days over Christmas, 1 Special Occasion Day, and 8 bank holiday days. We also offer the opportunity to work from abroad for up to 90 days a year, free CFGdegree education after working at CFG for 6 months, and a 6% matched pension. After 3 years, you get an extra day of annual leave, 2 extra days at 4 years and 3 extra days at 5 years. After 5 years, a 2-month sabbatical is available with the first month paid and the 2nd month unpaid.
