What will you be doing?

We deliver approaches to help lifelong learners aged 21+ boost their employability at all stages of their career through experiential learning (learning by doing) and careers support. We are urgently looking for experienced social media marketers to work with us as we grow our stakeholder and customer networks, and promote our approaches and programmes. Your contribution will go a long way to helping us succeed with our mission to assist thousands of people achieve their full potential at all stages of their lives. We would like the volunteer to: 

Create, post and manage social media content (written, visual and video) that helps grow our audience and promotes our offerings Increase our levels of audience engagement on LinkedIn including likes, comments and reposts, working in conjunction with our content creators  Help us set up and grow our following on other social media platforms we have not explored yet such as Instagram and YouTube.

You will be working with our strategic director who will share our marketing strategy, make you an admin on our social media page and support you to achieve success in your role.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who has experience:

Growing followings on LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube. Increasing social media engagement levels Using social media to market and sell offerings Creating quality written, visual and video social media content

The volunteer should also have/be: 

Accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills (written, verbal and visual) Ability to quickly understand the needs of our team / organisation / users Can ask key questions to enable us to clarify requirements Understands the resource constraints of a small not-for-profit and is able to work with these Open to feedback Collaborative Willing and able to work within virtual teams and contribute to team goals
