What will you be doing?

We are a passionate team dedicated to providing accessible and affordable counselling services to individuals, couples and groups. Our mission is to promote mental wellbeing and create a supportive environment for all. We do this by empowering people so that they can improve their wellbeing. As our Account Manager, you will be responsible for the financial health of our CIC, ensuring accurate and timely management of our income and expenditure. You will also play a key role in supporting the operational efficiency of our services. A vital role, providing essential support to our counselling services and enabling us to continue our important work within the community. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Manage incoming payments from clients, funders, and other sources. Reconcile bank accounts and financial records regularly. Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of outstanding payments. Monitor and manage cash flow, identifying and addressing any potential issues. Prepare and present financial reports to the management team. Assist with budget preparation and monitoring. Maintain accurate and organised financial records, complying with relevant regulations.

What are we looking for?

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in account management, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role. Strong understanding of financial principles and practices. Excellent numeracy and analytical skills. Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.    A commitment to the values and mission of Bravecore Counselling CIC.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

Experience working in the not-for-profit sector or a Community Interest Company. Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements. Experience with client management systems.

Maintain accurate client records and ensure confidentiality. Assist with the procurement of necessary supplies. Work with the team to ensure smooth running of the CIC.
