Role Summary

Blackbird is looking to hire a Data Analyst to provide parental leave cover on a 12-month contract. Blackbird is a leading ANZ venture capital firm and this role offers a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally across our Investments, Community, Operations and Building Blackbird teams. The role will help us mature our data infrastructure and drive impactful insights across the business.

The role sits within our Data team, reporting to our Data Product Lead Nick, and working closely with the rest of the team, Nora and Ha. The Data Analyst will own discrete data projects, enhance data quality across the organisation, and manage ad-hoc data requests.

Position requirements include strong skills and experience analysing financial data, proficiency in Google Sheets, resourcefulness and ability to problem solve, ability to experiment with new tools and learn quickly, a genuine passion for venture capital and for ANZ’s startup ecosystem, and a low ego.
