Role Summary
- Lead and manage the TED-Ed Student Talks program, overseeing the full lifecycle from strategy to execution.
- Ensure smooth operations, bring continuous improvements in processes, and ensure meaningful engagement with a global community of educators and students.
- Supervise a Program Coordinator and delegate operational and administrative tasks effectively.
Role Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in education, non-profits, or community engagement.
- Strong organizational skills, comfortable managing multi-tasking.
- Experience with tech tools like Airtable, Google Workspace, Zendesk, Mighty Networks, Mixpanel, and other email marketing tools, or willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing training materials.
- Ability to analyze data to improve program performance.
- Comfortable troubleshooting technology issues.
- Event planning or workshop facilitation experience is a plus.

The Role TED-Ed is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and grow the TED-Ed Student Talks program. This individual will own the entire program lifecycle, from strategic direction to execution, ensuring smooth operations, continuous process improvements, and meaningful engagement with our global community of educators and students. The Program Manager will also supervise a Program Coordinator and be responsible for effectively delegating several operational and administrative tasks while concurrently focusing on high-level strategy, innovation, and program expansion.
Job Requirements 3+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in education, non-profits, or community engagement. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Tech-savvy, with experience using Airtable, Google Workspace, Zendesk, Mighty Networks, Mixpanel, and email marketing tools (or willingness to learn). Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing training materials and community resources. Ability to analyze data and generate insights to improve program performance. Comfortable troubleshooting technology and working with developers to resolve issues. Experience in event planning, workshop facilitation, or educator engagement is a plus.
