Your Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Membership Assistant to join our growing team. You'll work within our small Roaming Team, also regularly supporting our in-space Events.

You're someone who is outgoing, fun-loving and sociable; well organised and efficient. Someone who can be the glue to keep our communies together and to help make Work.Life a place where our members love to work, giving them everything they need to run their businesses smoothly.

Key to this role is someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and is flexible.

Our Roaming team work across all of our 13 our locations as needed - primarily in London with occasional (paid) travel to Reading or Manchester; and will be flexible across a broad working week (including some evenings & weekends) to support events taking place in our spaces.

You'll typically be working 40 working hours per week, across a 7-day rota to accommodate events business needs where required.

Our normal business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Friday and these will flex when required to accommodate our events businesses needs between 7am-11pm.

Your Day-to-day

·       Create an amazing experience for our members, guests and partners

·       Ensure the space runs smoothly and is fully operational

·       Answering general phone & member enquiries

·       Answering general member enquiries in person and on email

·       Monitor supplies, including office materials, cleaning equipment and member supplies

·       Assist the events team to provide on-site support during events, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that members and external guests needs are met

·       Create a collaborative community - internally and externally

·       Build connections for our members through events, introductions and networking

·       Develop Work.Life’s presence with the wider creative community in London: we want you to be an ambassador for what we do and what we believe in!

Assisting with membership management

·       Supporting the achievement of team targets for member retention and acquisition by identifying opportunities in day-to-day contact with members or enquirers

·       Handling relevant data processing and administration

·       Supporting the administration and organisation of member events, meeting room & event space bookings

·       Work directly with Membership Managers on any issues to ensure the highest level of member experience and satisfaction

About You

·       You're a driven, passionate and, most importantly, outgoing person

·       You'll have excellent communication skills & enjoy being around people - this is a social role

·       You'll have a positive attitude, be detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational abilities

·       You'll have demonstrated customer service experience - proven ability to add value to your customers is a big plus

·       You are a collaborative team player, always willing to lend a hand in all areas as needed
