Mind Cymru is an inspiring advocacy and support organisation intent on challenging mental health stigma and ensuring beneficiaries receive the respect and support they need. We use insights from those experiencing mental health issues to shape policy locally and nationally.
Role Summary:
- Strategic planning and budget management
- Overseeing corporate management and governance
- Supporting the Head of Operations in focusing on beneficiary impact
- Engaging with corporate colleagues across multiple teams to enhance capability and capacity
Role Requirements:
- Ability to build and strengthen relationships with a wide range of organisations, including both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in Two Nation work and liaising with voluntary, statutory, and private sector organisations

About the team We have big goals over the next few years. We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before. Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve. We are led by the experiences, priorities, and aspirations of people with mental health problems in Wales. We use these insights to change Welsh policy, reduce stigma, and provide life-changing support at a national and local level.
The role You will be responsible for strategic planning, budget management, corporate management and governance arrangements within Mind Cymru, supporting the Head of Operations to ensure a strong focus on beneficiary impact in our planning. You will be responsible for engaging with corporate colleagues in HR, Finance, Infrastructure, Governance and Safeguarding teams across Mind to develop effective systems and processes to enhance the capability and capacity of Mind Cymru.
Job requirements Working closely with both internal and external stakeholders, you will develop, strengthen and establish relationships with a wide range of organisations, including colleagues across Two Nation working, and other voluntary, statutory and private sector organisations to promote and showcase our work in Wales.
