Role Summary

Ownership of end-to-end design, development, and validation of mechanical systems within EV charging products. Ensure innovations are manufacturable, and meet all functional, safety, and quality standards. Responsible for mechanical design & development, testing, cross-functional integration, manufacturing readiness and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

Mechanical design expertise needed. Proficient in SolidWorks, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and digital rendering tools like Keyshot, Adobe Suite. Knowledge in materials & manufacturing and product data management. Must have legal right to work in the UK.

The role involves taking ownership of the end-to-end design, development, and validation of mechanical systems and components within EV charging products, ensuring they are innovative, manufacturable, and meet all functional, safety, and quality standards. You will also be responsible for mechanical design & development, testing, validation & documentation, cross-functional integration & communication, manufacturing readiness & prototyping, and innovation & continuous improvement.

Job requirements include mechanical design expertise, proficiency in SolidWorks (CAD, simulation, Composer), GD&T, tolerance analysis, and digital rendering tools (e.g. Keyshot, Adobe Suite), materials & manufacturing knowledge (e.g. injection moulding, CNC, laser cutting), and product data management (PDM/PLM) experience.
