Role Summary
- Support a diverse portfolio of legal matters with a focus on corporate governance, entity structuring, and cross-border operations
- Oversee company share schemes and equity incentive plans
- Conduct due diligence and provide support for M&A activities
- Liaise with local counsel in foreign jurisdictions and assist with establishing international corporate entities
- Support the People team on employment-related matters and implement compliance programs
Role Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 2–4 years’ PQE in corporate law
- Experience with corporate transactions, governance, and employment law principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- A proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and alignment to Multiverse values
- An understanding of international markets and global entity management (desirable)

The Opportunity
Reporting to our General Counsel, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of legal matters with a core focus on corporate governance, entity structuring, and cross-border operations, while expanding your expertise across areas like employment law, M&A, and commercial contracting.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a lawyer with a strong foundation in corporate law who is excited to step into a fast-paced, scale-up environment. You’ll be trusted with high-impact work as well as being a key in-house expert, playing a key role in our global growth.

Specifically, you will:
Oversee the administration of company share schemes and equity incentive plans
Support the management of group entities, including corporate governance and compliance requirements
Help prepare documentation for funding rounds and investor relations
Conduct due diligence and research, and provide support to the GC for mergers and acquisitions activities
Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements and documents
Help maintain corporate records and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions
Support the People team on employment-related matters, including support (where necessary with grievance proceedings, review policies, and stay on top of compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
Support the implementation of compliance programs (anti-bribery, sanctions, modern slavery)
Assist in creating compliance training materials
Research local legal requirements in new territories
Liaise with local counsel in foreign jurisdictions
Support the establishment of international corporate entities
Help ensure cross-border compliance with varying regulatory frameworks
Assist with documentation for international operations
About you:
Qualified lawyer with 2–4 years’ PQE, ideally with a corporate law background and interest in international markets
Experience with corporate transactions, governance, and employment law principles
Strong business judgment with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive, solutions-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Eager to learn, curious about new tools (including AI), and open to continuous development
A collaborative team player with a “can-do” attitude and strong alignment to Multiverse values.
Desirable but not essential:
Training in a top-tier law firm, with a rotation in Corporate, plus ideally in M&A, and Employment law.
Exposure to global entity management or international structuring is a plus (UK, US, Europe)
