The Role

We are seeking a Head of Delivery to oversee project execution, team management, and process improvement at YBB. This role is essential in ensuring that all work is delivered according to operational and delivery best practices, to plan and above target margin, while also providing strong leadership to the delivery team.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients, the Head of Delivery will ensure alignment across projects, resource optimisation, and continuous process improvement. They will oversee day-to-day project operations, business planning, and organisational efficiencies, ensuring YBB’s business priorities and objectives are met.

In addition to managing resources and improving workflows, this role will play a key part in fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and values-driven culture. They will also support HR processes, financial administration and management, and governance compliance to strengthen YBB’s long-term impact.

Youth Beyond Borders (YBB) is a next-generation creative company dedicated to empowering young people from under-represented communities across the UK. With over a decade of experience, we bridge the gap between organisations and young audiences through:

YBB operates as a social enterprise, with all profits donated to our sister charity, Football Beyond Borders (FBB). Our mission is to put young people first and help our partners engage with youth authentically.

Since launching in 2022, YBB has rapidly grown, impacting a community of 1,500+ young leaders and collaborating with leading brands such as Nike, JD Sports, Netflix, Kurt Geiger, National Theatre, and Oxford University. With projected revenues exceeding £1 million this year, we are scaling rapidly and need strong leadership to support our continued growth.

Your Day-to-Day:

Project & Operations Management

  • Oversee the execution and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, above margin expectation and to a high standard to meet client satisfaction.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across delivery functions.
  • Contribute to the execution of YBB’s strategic priorities.
  • Manage operational challenges and resource allocation, escalating key decisions as needed.


Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead and support the delivery team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment.
  • Oversee staff engagement, wellbeing, and professional development within the delivery function.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a strong, motivated team.
  • Champion YBB’s values, ensuring an inclusive and purpose-driven workplace.


Financial & Resource Management

  • Work with the CEO, and Finance team to manage budgets related to project delivery and operations.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by monitoring costs, optimising resource use, and improving workflows.
  • Support funding and investment planning by providing operational insights and project performance data.


Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure that all projects and operational activities comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Support risk management processes to safeguard project success and organisational stability.
  • Contribute to internal reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability across delivery functions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in project management, delivery, or operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in project planning, budgeting, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Passion for youth empowerment, community and creativity.
