Role Summary
- Head the Finance, HR, and Corporate Operations teams.
- Report to the Country Director and manage a team across various locations.
- Oversee the annual budget, financial reconciliation, external reporting, implementation of the People & Culture function, and program asset management.
Role Requirements
- 5+ years in a relevant profession, 3+ years in leadership or consulting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
- Team management skills with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Exceptional English and French language skills (B2 minimum).

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips 5.5 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. Across nine countries that together are home to two-thirds of Africa's farmers, we provide high-quality farm supplies, tree seedlings, accessible credit, modern agronomic training, and a wide range of other agricultural services. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase their income and assets on supported land by more than 35 percent, while permanently improving their resilience. This is all made possible by our team of 9,000+ full-time staff, drawn from diverse backgrounds and professions.
The Role You will be head the Finance team, the HR team, and the Corporate Operations team. You will report to the Country Director and will manage a growing team spread across Kinshasa and our field locations. You will sit within the country leadership team. Responsibilities include managing the annual budget setting process across the country, working closely with division and department leads, advising teams on how to best manage their budget, overseeing financial reconciliation processes and external reporting obligations, overseeing the implementation of One Acre Fund’s People & Culture function, and overseeing the management of the program's assets.
Job Requirements 5+ years of relevant professional experience, 3+ years of experience leading business administration teams or in consulting, University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or other relevant field, Team management with diverse multi-disciplinary teams, Excellent language abilities in English and French (B2 minimum).
