We’re Fair Shot - A social enterprise cafe and registered UK charity (no. 1190582) located in the heart of London. We aim to transform the lives of young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism through coffee beans.

Role Summary

  • Trustees with expertise in fundraising, philanthropy, financial oversight, marketing, brand, and communications.
  • Ambassadors to help raise awareness and amplify the mission.
  • Patrons to support funding opportunities and partnerships.
  • Members and Supporters to engage with the community and promote the cafe.

Role Requirements

  • Expertise in identified fields for Trustees.
  • Connections and recognizability for Ambassadors.
  • Interest in fundraising and community engagement for Patrons and Supporters.

Work with Us 2025 was an incredibly exciting year for us at Fair Shot! And now in 2026, we’re building towards our next 2-year strategy which will massively widen our scope for impact. Our goal is to directly support 60 young adults with learning disabilities into paid employment every 5 years, and to support a further 500+ through training, education and consultancy. To make this happen, we’re looking for people to join us on the journey! We’re currently looking for: Trustees (Voluntary Board Roles) With expertise in the following. These roles will help shape our impact, strategy, strengthen sustainability, and open up new income and partnership opportunities. - Fundraising / philanthropy - Treasurer (financial oversight, hybrid charity/commercial model) - Marketing, brand, and communications Ambassadors Well-connected individuals (and ideally recognisable faces) who can help raise awareness, open doors, and amplify our mission. Patrons People who want to be more closely involved. Receiving direct updates on our strategy and helping generate funding opportunities, partnerships, and employment pathways for our graduates. We’re Particularly interested in individuals from the PR / media world who can help raise our profile and unlock new opportunities. Members and Supporters People who believe in what we do - sharing our story, bringing people into our café, and helping grow our community.
